Barely Hanging OnThe bareness of it all
The dark ceiling that overshadows me
Nothing is left for me here
Solitary is who I am
Let the rain come crashing down
And wash away my emptiness
Let me be whole again
Give back the feeling that I had before
But that's impossible when the darkness creeps closer
I am forever in this box of agony and the walls are closing in
Being caught in the nothingness is making me insane
Overthinking and full of pain
I'm wailing and scratching to get out
But the sun will never see my eyes again
My bones shake in the pressure and it's hard to sit still
There is nothing to it
It is all a blur now, the happiness I once felt
What's left is a vacant expression with only one tear
I have lost the one person dearest to me
And I can't get that back
I'm now going in circles and I'm getting dizzy with my own thoughts
This storm has just begun and I will end up stranded
I'm wandering toward a dead end with no turning back
That cliff in my path will eventually be at my feet
I will eventuall
Peaches and CreamPour me a palette of autumn peach,
blend it in the basin of almond milk,
and let it fuse into my cheeks.
Stir memories of a rustic kiss,
a solemn wooden swing.
A gush of wind and its retreat.
An ounce of rain above my brow.
The sentiment of you and me –
the eyes of burning bronze.
An instant left to cling...

Few keep it for who we love
Most just want it gone
Though still remember; only one
It doesn't matter if you give or keep
You will be praised, and scolded for both
Whatever you do will upset someone
So learn; my flower my choice
Give a petal to everyone
or give on flower to your love
Throw away the flower
or give it to someone who will treasure it
It's your flower, and it's your choice
All i ask of you is a simple task
Wait until it has bloomed
Then give whatever to whomever
